A private-sector-led initiative to deploy 1,500 MW of utility-scale solar across Uganda — diversifying a hydro-heavy grid, unlocking exports through the East African Power Pool, and turning Karamoja's exceptional solar resource into long-term economic value.
Programme focus: Karamoja (Moroto–Nakapiripirit) flagship sites, regional grid integration, and a bankable IPP pipeline positioned for climate finance.
